It’s that time again. One month is coming to an end as another rears its head to start.

That’s right June has come to an end already. I am not sure if it’s just me but, doesn’t it seem like the year is just flying by. It seems like it was just January the other day.

With the start of the new month it is of major significance to those of us in the United States. That’s right it is that time of year again. The fourth of July has hit again.

This year the Holiday falls on a Tuesday. I know a lot of towns and areas are doing all there celebrations over the weekend. I am pretty sure there are a lot of people out there that are taking Monday off since they probably have Tuesday off anyway.

That sounds really great for those lucky enough to be able to do that. Making it a four day weekend. I envy those people.

Working in emergency services there is no such thing as a holiday off. Especially one notorious for drinking and stupidity. Not to mention the extra’s for the big events, such as fireworks.

With that said I hope everyone is safe during this weekend and this time of year. Leave the fireworks to the professionals. I guarantee the last thing you want is to my ambulance in your yard running everyone’s good time.
