It is the beginning of yet another month. However, it is not just any other month, it is July.

The beginning of July is a very important time of the year in America. The first several days are generally filled with celebrations and cook outs. When the beginning starts on a weekend these celebrations are much larger and more extravagant.

That is due to the fact that the 4^th of July falls during this time. Those who don’t know this was the day that the country signed the “Declaration Of Independence” from the Empire of Great Brittan and the tyranny they controlled over the then struggling country.

This declaration was signed 240 years ago in a session of the then Continental Congress. Every year since we won our independence from Great Brittan there has been celebrations of our independence.

Generally these celebrations included fireworks and cook outs. Either way you look at it there is generally a lot of food and a lot of drinking.

So this weekend remember what this holiday really means to this country. More importantly stay safe out there this weekend.
