As the dark clouds start to roll in over the shore, as the sky lights up and lightning strikes the water’s surface. The beach goers scramble for shelter. It was easy to see it was going to be one hell of a storm.
In the scramble Rachel tripped off the parking lot curb. Falling flat on her face, sending her beach bag flying into the middle of the lot and spilling all its contents.
Clambering to her feet and checking the area to see if anyone had witnessed the fall, the coast appeared to be clear.
Hurriedly she started picking up her spilled bag. Crawling on her hands and knees while franticly searching for her cell phone.
Suddenly a pair of hairy legs wearing a pair of low top red converse sneakers appeared in front of her.
“You looking for this?” Asked the guy attached to the legs.
“Oh gosh yes. Thank you.”
“Would you like to go get a cup of coffee and watch this storm role through?”
“I think I am just going to go home. Thank you”
“Oh come on Rachel, there is a little shop just down the street.”
“How do you know my name?”
“It’s on your beach bag there.”
“Oh yeah. I am still going to skip. I have a number of things to do at home. Thank you for the offer though.”
“I don’t care you haven’t got a choice but, come with me.” Stated the man as he pulled out a 9mm hand gun.
Rachel felt an overwhelming sense of terror wash over her face as the color drained from her face. Reluctantly she got to her feet and walked ahead of him, as he had the gun trained on her back.
They slowly walked towards a plain van with a sliding door. Rachel was forced into the back of the van and locked in. the man ran quickly around to the driver’s side and climbed in. Rachel screamed for help the entire time of the drive, which took about twenty minutes.
As the guy climbed out to come around to open the door to get Rachel, she prepared herself for him to grab her. When the door opened she kicked the man right in the groin followed by the head.
Climbing out she went to run for her life. Taking a look around she noticed she didn’t have to run far. The guy had parked right next to her car. In fact he had opened the car door before the sliding door.
Climbing into her car and peeling out of the parking spot. The guy was just starting to get up off the ground. Waving good bye to Rachel as she pulled out of the parking spot.
